Bad news has been all around us the last couple of days. A friend's father died, and then an old acquaintance's daughter went missing, and well...it didn't end well. And then, my father-in-law passed away early Monday morning.
Dad had heart problems about 15 years ago, and about a year ago he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He lived in Florida, so we hardly ever got to see him. We were never sure if we was giving us full disclosure about his cancer treatments, but I guess he didn't want anyone to fuss or worry over him.
I'm sad he's gone. I wish we could have seen more of him.

John's Dad died? Please give him my condolences.
