Found a Peanut

I have groceries waiting not-so-patiently to be put away while I try to nurse a tiny baby and blog.  Ahhh...motherhood.

Little Sophia went in for her three-week appointment yesterday and surprisingly only gained 5 ounces in 15 days.  She is now at 6 pounds 5 ounces.  The doc and I talked over her feeding/pooping/peeing habits and really, honestly, we're not worried--too much.  The doc said that perhaps she lost a little weight and then started gaining again...?  Seriously, this kid eats OFTEN.  And goes through 13+ diapers a day.  But...I'm bringing her back to the doc in a week to check her weight.  And trying very hard not to get all my hormones in a bunch and start crying/worrying/freaking/dragging-out-that-can-of-free-formula-to-suppliment about it.

Keith had his annual at the same time and mentioned that he wanted his eyes checked, and yes, his eyes are a bit weak and so he needs to go to the eye doctor.  This is not the first time he has complained, but it is the first time he's not tested well.  John and I are torn between, "Does this explain why he doesn't hit well in baseball?" and "Is he faking this because he wants glasses like Mary?"

I know I had others items to discuss, but I need to sign off now and put away those groceries.  And pay attention to my Little Peanut.  And call the plumber for my phone-phobic husband....
