I'm posting this recipe because I thought some of the mommy bloggers who happen to come by might be interested in it....
Beer Bread
3 C self-rising flour **
3 T sugar
12 oz beer
Mix and bake at 350* for 45-60 minutes.
**If you don't have any self-rising flour on hand:
1 C self-rising flour = 1 C all purpose flour + 1 1/2 t. baking powder + 1/8 t. salt.
I can't even make the expensive Name Brand stuff without thinking of my buddy JJ--who introduced me to the stuff when we were in college.
