Where do the days go?

I've had something Scout or school-ish going on every day/evening since Saturday. Tonight is PTA and even though for ONCE it's in a day/time I can ACTUALLY attend, I'm NOT going. I'd like ONE NIGHT with an clean slate, thankyouverymuch.

Last night was Curriculum night for kindergarten. (The school split it up into three nights--and guess who's children were spaced just right so that she had to go to ALL THREE FREAKIN' NIGHTS?) I stayed after for a second just to introduce myself to the teacher (John met her on the first day, but I haven't had a chance yet). Mrs. M., "Oh! I just LOVE Izzy! She's always so excited every day! Every days she asks, 'WHAT are we doing today?' or 'WHAT are we reading today?'" Per Mrs. M., Izzy is one of the students REALLY into reading.

Awesome. So maybe the third-child syndrome did NOT affect her as much as I feared! See--barely reading to her AT ALL from the ages of 2 to 4 is actually making her EAGER to learn it at school! Go, Tired-and-Lazy ME!

And...Penny Update. There has been a BM, but no penny visable. I'm thinking, if she had a BM at all, that must mean that everything is running smoothly, right???

Mrs. M: "incidentally, she's been crapping out money--may you could start an IRA instead?"
