Yes, that's right folks. After almost exactly 120 days, the company finally offered me a permanent position--starting officially on Monday. Whew! Although, I was really to the point of "Hey, keep me as a temp--whatever! As long as I'm getting a paycheck!" Anyway, I'll now have the "luxury" of TWO weeks vacation. Ooooohhh....Wow! And I can actually get PAID if I call in sick now.
I wonder if I'm the only person in the COUNTRY who got HIRED this month?? "Yes, that's right, folks, the employment rate is UP! It went up by ONE JOB! Things are looking UP!"

That's definitely something worth celebrating. I know we were pretty excited with my husband's promotion last month. Then you hear about friends getting laid off. Not good. But great for you!
