So, I went out of my way to stay this extra month at work--despite having the gosh darn RIGHT to gripe when they allowed my lower-seniority co-worker go a month early. I had hardships trying to find daycare for a freakin' month. I'm having to pay a MINT for said daycare which, frankly, has put us in a slight bit of a financial set-back. All this JUST so that I could be a nice guy and help them train my replacement.
AFTER ALL THAT, and we FINALLY get my replacement in here....imagine my surpise when they get here...and my boss decides to have SOMEONE ELSE train them IN MY JOB.
WTF???????
UM....WHAT WAS THE POINT OF MY BEING HERE FOR THAT EXTRA FREAKIN' MONTH?????
Now I basically have NOTHING to do for the last week and a half of my gainful employment and get to sit idly by while someone else does my work (and gets my 5% training pay).
I've suddenly turned into the most guilable, used-up, washrag in the telecommunications industry.
