I made the fudge yesterday--but nothing else.
I started wrapping gifts this morning. Still have just over half to go.
I realized while wrapping that we still do not have a "Santa" gift for a certain little girl. (We don't push Santa on the kids, but we don't NOT push him either.... So the kids still look for a gift from Santa. ) I am trying to figure out what we can AFFORD that still has a WOW factor it it--that she will actually LIKE and PLAY WITH.
I need BIRTHDAY wrapping paper for poor Mary. Nothing is more annoying to a December baby than getting birthday gifts wrapped in X-mas paper!
I knitted a hat and ONE mitten for Keith. And...I'm afraid I don't have enough yarn for the second mitten. *sigh* Better put another skein of yarn on the shopping list!
And I don't have enough powdered sugar for the peanut butter cups. And we don't have our pizzas for pizza-and-a-movie night tonight. And the kids were about to mutiny this morning due to the lack of "good" (i.e. SUGARY) cereal.
And it's very cold, so I don't feel like leaving the house.
I desperately need help from my neighbor for a certain sewing project--and for some reason I am having difficulties finding/making the time to get together with her?
WHY am I still writing whiny lists instead of getting this crap DONE?
(Interestingly, I'm probably way ahead of where I usually am at this time of year--including the one year I took off to stay at home.)

Isn't it fun to try really hard to shop healthfully for your family and then they all whine about not having junk food? Ungrateful b*stards. That includes the husband!
If it makes you feel any better I've got 20 people coming through my door tomorrow night (many you know very well) and I still have half of the house to clean, groceries and alcohol to buy, and a Mexi-dip to prepare... and here I am blogging.
