TMI, part deux

The doctor seems to think that since I've been on the pill for SO MANY YEARS and currently am using a different form of bc, that I've just FORGOTTEN how bad menstrual cramps are.

OH HO. I've NOT forgotten. 'Cause you see, there IS this tiny little problem of my feeling pain the OTHER three weeks of the month!!!?

I am going in for an ultrasound tomorrow, but despite the above terseness, I agree with her that they probably won't find anything wrong. I still think I just need to eat better--and exercise more ("more" implying that I exercise now--ha!).

Good news--I've actually lost a few pounds since being home. So, no housewifely gain YET. And that after the holidays, too! Go ME!

I have lots of cycle-related pain issues which my doctor finally determined to be caused by ovary cysts which I get whenever I ovulate. I always feel tender the day I ovulate and then sometimes the cyst will remain the rest of the cycle and cause pain. So I think the ultrasound is definitely a good idea!

Although I'm not having a cycle right now (YAY!!) this sounds so much like mine. An ultrasound is probably a good idea.

I hope you get the answers you need, and more importantly, feel better!
