The First Victim

John just got a call to come and get Keith from school. He's running a fever of 101. It's nice to have a kid who goes to the nurse when he's ACTUALLY sick (oh! and even THIS, and don't forget the never-ending apparent-UTI issues). (Although, I did just find THIS post. FORGOT about that! Although--he wasn't in school yet way back then, so does that really count?). NOT nice for John to have to leave work when he's really, really busy to rush to get Keith because the nurse couldn't get ahold of ME.

(Yeah, I accidentally left my cell phone at home today. In my defense, I DID ask the school secretary to update my work information just last week [yeah, yeah, a BIT late], but apparently it did NOT happen. I can't quite blame HER as I told her verbally on the phone instead of sending it in writing like I should have!)

Additional: John just called to tell me that the minute they got home, Keith took off his coat/shoes, went up to bed, and was asleep within FIVE minutes. And then got mad when John had to wake him up to take his temperature (down to 100!) and give him medicine. That poor little guy is REALLY sick. :(

You should just write the blog entry about Izzy being sick on her birthday NOW, then just copy and paste it when it happens.
